Concurring the UN Climate Change Conference COP25 in Madrid, Spain, RC3S successfully organized a talk show on “Capacity Initiatives to Protect Marine Environment from Pollution and Climate Change" on December 10^th, 2019 at the Indonesian Pavilion.

The talkshow brought together 4 (four) speakers: (1) Mr. Dida Migfar Ridha, Director of Coastal and Marine Pollution and Degradation Control – MoEF as RC3S Executive Director, presented strategies in Strengthening Capacity Initiatives to Protect Marine Environment from Land-Based Pollution; (2) Mr. Keitaro Tsuji, Environmental Policy Advisor from JICA presented Japan experiences to Protect Marine Environment from Pollution and Climate Change; (3) Mr. Bagya Sugiharta, Director of Operation, PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, talked about Commitments to Contribute in the Race Against Climate Change and Coastal Community Empowerment; also (4) Mr. Komang Parmita, Director of Operation, PT. PJB presented the company’s initiatives to combat marine litter.
