Clean Seas Forum with Science: Monitoring Marine Debris and Microplastics Through Technology and Modeling Result

Celebrate World Environment Day, RC3S with its commitment to clean seas has carried out a clean seas forum with science with the theme of Monitoring Marine Debris and Microplastics Through Technology and Modeling. this activity was carried out virtually via zoom and youtube live streaming on June 10, 2021, which was attended by 10 speakers from; National Institute of Aeronautics and Space of Indonesia (LAPAN), The National Nuclear Energy Agency of Indonesia (BATAN), Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia, Indonesian Agency for Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysics (BMKG), Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), Udayana University, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University, Padjadjaran University, Diponegoro University. Through this discussion forum of experts from various institutions conveyed innovations and several research results and also share related information technology solutions and modeling of marine litter and microplastics with the hope of knowledge and make recommendations appropriate technologies that can be used by stakeholders in order to monitoring marine litter and microplastic.
